Messed up.
I dont know. I’ve been home alone since Friday, and having no human contact makes you depressed. We’re built for human contact. I have been inside my house all day, and it’s really depressing :(
I ate a perfectly healthy dinner. THen I ate strawberries with peanut butter as a healthy dessert, but then I was sort of pissed off because I felt restricted for some reason. I took out alfajores (think moon pies with caramel inside instead of the white stuff)
it’s so bad for you, and the worst part is that I didn’t even want it. I am a strong person, but today, I just was really feeling bad. I should have thrown away the alfajores and just taken a walk. Next time I will do better. Earlier today I had a small slice of sweet potato cake and icecream. Today was a bad day, but I will do better. Tomorrow is a new day. I will eat healthier. I will be better. Mistakes happen.
10 Healthy Sweet Potato Recipes!
For a humble root vegetable, the sweet potato sure does have a lot going for it. The orange tuber packs 438% of your daily value of infection-fighting vitamin A and, like carrots, sweet potatoes are a major source of skin-protecting beta-carotene. While bananas are often touted as the go-to source of potassium, a medium sweet potato has 28% more potassium than a banana. (The mineral helps your body absorb fluids to replace sweat losses.)
Whether sweet potatoes only enter your kitchen on Thanksgiving or they have a regular spot in your cooking rotation, you could probably use more delicious ways to prepare them. Here are 10 recipes for dishes from fries to soup—each with about 300 calories or less.
